What location and subject matter did you choose to shoot for your photo?
I took photo number one, which is a candle holder, in my backyard so the lighting was better.
Describe the photo you took:What is the distance in the shot? (How close or far away are you from your subject?)
I placed my camera that it was almost touching the candle holder, so I able to get the inside and outside of the candle holder in the shot.
What was your point of view when you took the photo? (from above, below, straight on...)
My point of view when I took the photo was straight on.
Are your photograph horizontal or vertical?
Photo number one is horizontal.
Did you consider the rule of thirds to compose your shot? Describe.
Yes, because I tried to line up the the big plus sign shapes with the rule of thirds. But I had to crop the bottom off of the photo, so the plus sign shapes shifted.
Is your photo a dynamic composition that successfully leads the viewer’s eye through the work?
Yes, because the candle holder is cylinder making the photo look curved, leading the eye through the photo.
